Teaching & Course Leadership

University of Brighton

As Course Leader of the Sustainable Design MA at the University of Brighton, UK, I lead a critically engaged, practice-based course that pushes designers to think critically, act responsibly, and imagine more just futures. My role includes writing and leading modules, supporting students through assessment and feedback, and constantly re-energising the curriculum to keep it relevant, research-informed, and responsive to the world students are designing within.

I lead four key postgraduate modules—Radical Modes of Design Culture and Practice, Design Research Practices (taught across MA Interior Design, MA Architectural and Urban Design, MArch, and MRes Architectural Research), Sustainable Design Future(s) (a postgraduate option module), and Masterworks, which helps students prepare themselves and their work for whatever comes next.

Alongside this, I run cross-course workshops and contribute to undergraduate teaching. My approach is collaborative, critical, and always evolving.

I am open to guest lecturing, visiting lecturing, and collaborative teaching across institutions. If you're interested in inviting me to speak or contribute to your course or programme, please do get in touch.
